The data are derived by grouping SCPA DOR4 codes into predetermined existing land use categories. These existing land use categories consist of state-mandated themes in accordance with 9J-5 FAC which deals with comprehensive planning. Furthermore, three additional categories were created by the Planning Division and were derived separate from the DOR4 code groupings \u2013 transportation, managed environmental lands, and dedicated area.
